Dying is natural

Together we can create a space for your End of Life process that expresses the person you are and the life you have lived

There are many details to consider when deciding where to live while dying. Is my home safe and comfortable, who will be with me in those final days, what will I do in those sacred, fleeting moments?

The details can be overwhelming and confusing. You may have little time and there is much to consider. I am here to support your vision while you navigate these unfamiliar waters.

 What is a Death Doula?

A Death Doula, or End of Life Doula, is a person who helps create an environment of unconditional support for the dying and the people around them. Death Doula's offer emotional, spiritual and organizational support. Much like a birth Doula, a Death Doula is present to help with the natural labor of dying, that at times can be full of uncertainty and emotionally challenging for everyone involved.

As a Holistic Death Doula, I offer an integrated approach to end of life care. I incorporate modalities such as Massage, Somatic Bodywork, meditation, prayer, song, and storytelling, along with current medical systems and treatments. We will also explore herbs and plant medicine, including CBD and cannabis oil for pain and anxiety support. I can arrange your home for a death experience that is peaceful and safe, provide respite for caregivers, assist with living funerals or celebrations of life, and provide grief support.

I provide in person care throughout California, Nevada, Oregon and Arizona. Online services available worldwide.

Testimonials

“She supported my husband's dignity and autonomy in every way possible while keeping him safe. I cannot say enough about this woman's skills. Caroline combines all the expertise of a professional with the grace of the Great Mother. I would say her value is immeasurable.”

— Diane J.

“Caroline was a God-send. My mom was in her last month, and Caroline was there to help with such personal care, understanding, and kindness. She took the time to listen to and read to mom. She helped with everything. The best part of having her there was taking the stress away from me and knowing my mom was in such good hands so I could relax.”
